Activities and Events:

During this meeting it was great to meet up with everyone again and we received a terrific welcome at school and invited to partake of bread and honey.

We had a terrific lunch and tour around the old city. It is astonishing to know how old the city is and there are so many Roman remains and old houses come museums.

The first evening we watched the students’ welcome concert which was incredible and a delight to witness the talent of these pupils.
We were treated to a very private tour around a metal plant and visited some a beautiful working monastery in the hills.
It was great to enjoy the challenge to climb Alosha’s hill and see Plovdiv from on high!
We enjoyed a visit to the capital Sofia where we entered many beautiful churches and visited the National History museum.
