As a result of joining this project we have had the opportunity to do additional activities that link to the theme and would like to share them also.
We have run 2 clothes recycling 'shops' and invited the local community to join in to raise money for a local charity.
We became involved with a local youth theatre to help make a large puppet for a festival out of recycled materials. The project was entitled 'When you see Water' and its aim was to draw attention to looking after our rivers and streams.
We created a giant fish puppet.

Also in the theme of sustainability we had guest speakers from 'Water Aid' a national charity that helps get clean drinking water to remote villages around the World and our Year 11s thought of various ways to raise money including sponsored walks and penny games as well as sponging staff and we earned nearly £400.
