Schools that have applied to take part in this multilateral project intend to raise awareness of the students’ on environmental pollution and exhaustion of natural resources.In''LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF NATURE''Project, 4 partner schools (Turkey-Coordinator-,United Kingdom, Spain and Bulgaria) aims to help students develop their skills in better understanding for environmental issues as well as to improve students’ abilities in using ICT resources and foreign languages by various activities.The target group of this project consists of students aged 6-15 (primary and lower-secondary level) and it also focuses on school and teacher development.
These general objectives will be achieved by our students through different activities that will allow them to explore the general themes of the project in various possible approaches (historical,social,environmental,cultural etc),such as:
-pupils will take photos of environmental issues such as pollutions,city landscapes,trees,drought soils etc
-pupils will initiate protection of environment projects that are identified by themselves
-carrying out activities,in which children learn how to protect the environment and also help students produce sustainable goods
The project also aims to help teachers in their pedagogical efforts to introduce high quality contributions to the teaching/learning process,to provide and exchange informative materials involving elements of culture,civilization and educational systems from the partner countries.It is designed to stimulate children’s creativity,understanding,tolerance and acceptance of other cultures and help them build sound criteria for nature and environmental values.
By these events,pupils not only get to know different European cultures,but also get the opportunity to improve their self expression ability as well as their teachers/schools.
